The WWE brought out the best of the best for their WWE Extreme Rules showdown on May 4. Major wrestlers like John Cena, Daniel Bryan and Kane all turned out for the fist-flying, body-slamming event! WWE Extreme Rules 2014: 'Hardcore' Showdowns
The annual WWE Extreme Rules was a rollercoaster ride of wild, crazy fun. Some of the best and well-known wrestlers fought against each other inside a ring with absolutely no rules. The event fed on the animosity between the wrestlers and other "hardcore" elements. Here a few of the big match-ups from the insane event that the site noted:
John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt: The two intense wrestlers met up for a match of mayhem. Wyatt dominated most of the event, but John got a few good moves in. Bray also brought out the other members of the Wyatt Family to help out with John. When it looked like John might take the win, a child started singing in a demonic voice and distracted John, which allowed Wyatt to seal the win.
Daniel Bryan vs. Kane: Daniel Bryan returned to defend his WWE Heavyweight Championship against Kane. The two wrestlers didn't play nice and went right for the nasty. They moved their fight from the ring to backstage and then to the parking lot! Kane even set a table on fire, hoping to finish off Daniel. However, Daniel pushed Kane into the flames instead and successfully defending his championship!

The Shield vs. Evolution: All in all, six men engaged in this epic fight. Punches flew, tempers raged and the wrestlers charged at their opponents like an angry bull to a matador. The sensational fight ended with The Shield team taking home the win.
The WWE definitely took things to the extreme. The WWE Extreme Rules 2014 was one night of chaotic, no-holds-barred match-ups. We can't wait for next year!
